The Taipei International Women's Club celebrated its 40th anniversary in a lunch party Tuesday at the FASD Club on Chungshan North Road, Taipei. The club was founded in 195il by Roberta Auburn and a group of ladies from the international communities in Taipei, including Cynthia Lee and Edna Lee. Its constitution was patterned after that of the General Federation of Women's Club in Washington DC. The club aims to united the women of Taipei to promote their interests in education, philanthropy, public welfare and fine arts.
