It is with a humble and grateful heart that I would like to express to each of you, my sincere appreciation for entrusting me with the honor to serve you, as your 74th TIWC President for the 2024-2025 term.

TIWC has a strong and active legacy of providing women with opportunities for engaging in cross-cultural friendships, community service and philanthropic endeavors. Our TIWC Mission Statement states, “The object of this organization shall be to unite the women of Taipei and surrounding areas for their mutual benefit and promote their common interests: education, philanthropy, public welfare, moral values, civics and fine arts.” Therefore, our theme for the 2024-2025 term is “Empowered Women, United in Diversity and Transforming Lives Together.”

In a world that is facing unprecedented changes and challenges, TIWC continues to be a recognized and respected community cornerstone for the active promotion and hands-on involvement of its time-tested organizational pillars, Friendship, Education and Philanthropy.

The upcoming General Meetings have been carefully organized to celebrate our Taiwan and international friendships and to offer members opportunities to experience through sisterhood and charity activities, especially our annual Charity Gala, how meaningful your acts of volunteer time, talents, kindness and monetary donations are to those in need.

Yes, we are members of a strong and active TIWC legacy and we are also “Empowered Women”, “United in Diversity” and actively “Transforming Lives Together”.

我懷著感恩的心向每一位會員致以最誠摯的問候！能夠擔任第74屆會期的會長，我感到萬分的榮幸。感謝每一位會員的支持，您的積極參與，都是促使TIWC永續經營的重要動力！回顧過去一年，真誠地希望您的回憶是充實且豐碩。

TIWC擁有強大而積極的傳統，為女性提供參與跨文化友誼、社區服務和慈善事業的機會。我們的TIWC使命宣言指出：「本組織的目標是團結台北及週邊地區的女性，實現互惠互利，促進她們的共同利益：教育、慈善、公共福利、道德價值觀、公民和美術。」因此，我們2024-2025的主題是「賦權女性，團結融合，共同改變生活」。

我們見證了無數女性在各個領域中突破極限，勇敢追求卓越，實現自我價值，我們相信賦權女性，讓出色的女性都必能散發出影響力與獨特的魅力。我們的會員擁有不同的文化背景和生活經歷，但因有共同的信念而擁抱彼此。我們深知在多元化的社會中，唯有團結融合、共同改變生活才能讓自己變得更強大。

TIWC是一個可以凝聚力量、促進共同進步的優質女性社團，我們的三大宗旨：友誼、教育、慈善事業，是期許能為會員、為社會做出更多的貢獻。每一次會員大會是為了慶祝我們台灣和國際的友誼而精心組織的，並為會員提供機會體驗姐妹情誼和慈善活動，特別是我們一年一度的慈善晚會，您的志工時間、才華、金錢捐贈的積極態度對我們來說是多麼有意義。

慈善事業是回饋社會最具體的方式之一，我們關懷社會教育中的弱勢群體，致力於幫助那些缺乏資源的學習者能獲得更多的學習機會。我們匯集公眾的力量與社會資源，共同為弱勢團體盡一份心力。本會自1951年成立至今，落實資助並持續關懷受贈團體，能成就這些社會服務都是來自您的熱情響應與各界的善心捐助。

親愛的姐妹們，我們的力量源於團結，我們的成就來自合作，請讓我們並肩攜手繼續守護這個已有73年悠久歷史的優質女性社團。憶想起每一次在TIWC那如詩如畫的美好時光！正是因為有了姐妹們的真心相伴，記憶中的每一個畫面才如此生動，每一個日子才這般精彩…我怎能不愛妳們？
