TIWCEF APPRECIATE MARGARET LEE FOR HER LONG-TERM DEDICATION
TIWC 教育基金會感謝李王麗雲女士長期以來的奉獻
Ever since Margaret Lee left TIWCEF board, everyone missed her so much. She served as a TIWCEF director soon after TIWCEF was established.
Due to her enthusiasm, she was elected as the chairperson of TIWCEF since 1992 and kept on serving at that position till 2013. Many scholarship-awarded students remember her true love and care to them even many years after their graduation. Therefore, some TIWC Past Presidents arranged a lunch gathering with her on Nov. 5, 2021 to express our gratitude to her. It was great that the current TIWC president Jenny Chang and Social Service Chairperson also joined the gathering. Many meaningful souvenirs and thank-you cards were presented to her. One of them was a portrait of Margaret painted by Mayumi herself. The warm and touching scene witnessed the spirit of
TIWC and TIWCEF.

TIWC 教育基金會在2021 年11 月21 日的茶會
As usual, the Tea Party in November is for delivering scholarship to awarded students, introducing newly awarded students, and gathering awarded students for them to exchange experiences and ideas of university life. In the meantime, the TIWCEF directors, donors and TIWC board members can take the chance to encourage the students. The tea party was held at the meeting room on the 12th Floor of Taiwan Sanyo Electric Co. Bldg. provided by Lily Wen Lee.

ONE DAY OUTING TO SAN-YI 三義一日遊
TIWCEF co-worked with TIWC board to combine the
TIWC April General Meeting with the one-day outing to San-Yi, Miao-Li County proposed by TIWCEF. The purpose of this activity is to express the heart-felt gratitude to TIWC ladies for their pas

Why TIWC supports TIWCEF every year through GALA?
為何TIWC 每年都經由 GALA支助 台北國際婦女協會教育基金會 (TIWCEF)?
As Education and Philanthropy are two of the three objects of TIWC and especially TIWCEF was set up by TIWC, TIWC supported every year since TIWCEF’s inception in 1978. In a general meeting of term 2001-2002 a resolution was approved that TIWC yearly GALA TIWC should include TIWCEF as one of the major beneficiaries. It is so grateful that from that onward every board of TIWC agrees to do so. This year TIWC also had their annual Charity Gala event and put TIWCEF as one of their major beneficiaries. For this TIWCEF would like to say a big thank you for their strong support and generosity. ~~萬分感謝TIWC以及所有捐贈者的慷慨解囊及支持~~
