TIWC is honored to participate in the GFWC Convention 2026, held in Scottsdale from June 26–30. This year, five delegates from Taiwan will join nearly 900 members from around the world in this global gathering of women leaders. We are proud to represent Taiwan and contribute to meaningful conversations on service, leadership, and community impact.

2026 GFWC International Convention – Opening CeremonyTIWC is honored to participate in the 2026 GFWC International Convention as a proud representative of Taiwan.
The Opening Ceremony was both dignified and inspiring. One of the most memorable moments was witnessing the Parade of Flags, as the Taiwan flag entered the ballroom with pride. It was a meaningful reminder of the importance of international friendship, mutual respect, and women’s leadership around the world.
The ceremony also paid tribute to the sacrifices and service of those who contributed during times of war. The moving presentation of The Six Triple Eight highlighted the extraordinary dedication of the women of the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion during World War II. We also deeply appreciated the recognition of military service and the heartfelt remembrance of those who served, including the families of many GFWC members.
TIWC is proud to stand alongside women leaders from around the world, strengthening friendships, promoting service, and working together to create positive change in our global community.

A Meaningful Day of Recognition, Learning, and Friendship
It was a truly memorable day at the 2026 GFWC Annual Convention.
During the luncheon, we were deeply honored to receive, on behalf of Taipei International Women’s Club (TIWC), the Special Recognition for International Affiliate Club Participation Award presented by GFWC International President Suellen Brazil. This meaningful recognition reflects TIWC’s commitment to international friendship, volunteer service, and active participation within the GFWC family. We are sincerely grateful for this honor and proud to represent TIWC on the international stage. It was also a pleasure to meet and spend time with President Suellen Brazil, whose leadership continues to inspire women around the world.
Later in the evening, we attended the GFWC Southeastern Region Meeting & Banquet, where we had the opportunity to learn from outstanding club leaders and members. Their experiences in leadership, community service, membership development, and regional collaboration provided valuable ideas and inspiration. It was also wonderful to reconnect with our dear friends, Rosemary and Lisa from the GFWC Dunwoody Woman’s Club. Sharing conversations, exchanging experiences, and celebrating our friendship reminded us that the greatest strength of GFWC is the lasting friendships and shared commitment to service that unite women across the world.
We are grateful for every opportunity to represent TIWC, build international friendships, and continue learning alongside inspiring women leaders.

GFWC International Delegates Reception Hosted by International President Suellen Brazil
We were truly honored to attend the International Delegates Reception graciously hosted by GFWC International President Suellen Brazil.
The warm and elegant gathering brought together delegates and clubwomen from around the world in an atmosphere of friendship, fellowship, and cultural exchange. It was a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with longtime friends, make new connections, and celebrate the shared values of service and international understanding that unite us all.
We were especially delighted to represent Taipei International Women’s Club (TIWC) and Taiwan, although we come from different cultures and backgrounds, we are united by our commitment to making a positive difference in our communities.
Our sincere appreciation goes to President Suellen Brazil for her gracious hospitality and for creating such a meaningful occasion that strengthened the bonds of international friendship. We look forward to continuing to build lasting partnerships and working together in the spirit of Unity in Diversity.

GFWC Gala: Liberty, Leadership, and the Legacy of Service
TIWC was honored to attend the GFWC Gala Dinner, an inspiring evening celebrating Liberty, Leadership, and the Legacy of Service.
The gala brought together clubwomen from across the United States and around the world to recognize outstanding leaders, celebrate remarkable achievements, and reaffirm our shared commitment to volunteer service.
The evening also included a meaningful tribute to the 250th Anniversary of the United States, highlighting the enduring values of freedom, leadership, and community service.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all award recipients and our sincere appreciation to GFWC International President Suellen Brazil and the GFWC leadership team for hosting such a memorable event.
TIWC is proud to represent Taiwan and to be part of the global GFWC family. We cherish the friendships we have built and look forward to continuing our mission of “Unity in Diversity” through international collaboration and service.

A Meaningful Day at the GFWC Annual Convention

Today, TIWC delegates participated in the morning Bylaws and Resolutions Session, where members thoughtfully discussed proposed amendments that will help shape the future direction of GFWC. It was inspiring to witness democratic leadership, respectful dialogue, and a shared commitment to strengthening our Federation.
The continued session with the lively Love Auction, bringing members together in the spirit of generosity, friendship, and service. One of the day’s highlights was the delightful dance performance by the 55th GFWC International President Suellen Brazil and Executive Committee, whose enthusiasm and teamwork earned enthusiastic applause and brought smiles to everyone in attendance.
It was a productive and memorable day filled with meaningful discussions, fellowship, and celebration. TIWC is proud to be part of the GFWC family, building international friendships while sharing our commitment to leadership, volunteerism, and service.
Together, we strengthen our Federation, celebrate our friendships, and continue making a positive impact around the world.

The inspiring ceremony reflected GFWC’s enduring theme, “Unity in Diversity,” as members from around the world gathered to celebrate a new chapter of leadership, friendship, and service. It was a meaningful occasion that honored the dedication of outgoing International President Suellen Brazil while warmly welcoming President Wendy Carriker and her Executive Team.
As members of the global GFWC family, TIWC extends our heartfelt congratulations to President Wendy Carriker and the newly installed leadership team. We look forward to working together to strengthen international partnerships, empower women, and continue making a positive impact through volunteer service.
